Dr. Vesna De Vinča is an internationally renowned journalist, writer, and producer of film, fashion, and beauty events. She holds a PhD in Communication Sciences.


She gained global recognition through exclusive interviews with world leaders and prominent public figures in the television series Top Encounters, produced and edited for Serbia’s national broadcaster, RTS (Radio Television of Serbia).


Dr. De Vinča was the last journalist in the world to interview President Nelson Mandela, for HELLO! Magazine (English edition). Following this historic interview, she authored the book Mandela’s Code, published by the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development and promoted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.


She is widely respected as a fearless journalist and was the first female war correspondent during the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia. Her international reporting includes a two-week stay in Gaza, where she conducted an exclusive television interview with Yasser Arafat, leader of the PLO, and his wife Soha Arafat.


In 1989, she conducted a now-cult interview with Simon Wiesenthal, the world’s most famous Nazi hunter. She met Muammar Gaddafi twice and produced both a television interview and a documentary film in Libya in 1992 and 2006.


Among her distinguished interviewees are:

• Sirimavo Bandaranaike, the world’s first female Prime Minister

• Arthur C. Clarke, one of the most influential science fiction writers of all time

• Paco Rabanne, visionary fashion designer

• Gina Lollobrigida, iconic film diva

• Dame Elizabeth Murdoch, renowned Australian philanthropist and mother of Rupert Murdoch


Dr. De Vinča is an accomplished film producer and the founder and owner of De Vinča Production, a private production company. She has served as a jury member of the ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival in Paris for over 15 years.


She is the President of the Miss Serbia and Miss Montenegro pageants and the holder of international beauty licenses for Serbia and Montenegro.


Dr. De Vinča is the creator and leader of numerous environmental, cultural, and humanitarian initiatives, including:

• “Serbia – The Land of Lilacs”, through which she has planted thousands of lilac trees in Serbia and around the world

• “Serbia Fashion Day”, organized in Paris since 2016

• “Tesla Fashion Serbia” and the “2B Tesla” brand


Through her initiatives, she has awarded over 400 university scholarships to students in Serbia and Montenegro.


Her work has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including:

• Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ivo Andrić Academy

• Charter for Project of the Year “Captain Miša Anastasijević”

• Gold Medal of the Tesla Scientific Foundation, among many others


Dr. Vesna De Vinča is also the international ambassador of the global company Zepter International.


She is internationally known for her long-term research and practice of therapeutic fasting. She is currently completing the book Fasting for Health and Beauty – 33 Years of Experience and 45 Days Without Food, and works as a life coach and lecturer at international gatherings dedicated to fasting, health, and rejuvenation.


She lives and works in Belgrade, aboard the ship “De Vinča”, and is known for her philosophy of embracing uncertainty as a way of life.
